Hindustan is one of the many names of India; there are about four of them with distinctive meanings and origins. I believe they deserve more than four names with such a land mass and population.
During one of my readings, I came across a phrase that said, “USA the oldest democracy in modern days and India the largest democracy,” That reminded me of how connected we are to India, of course, bar the actions of most of our politicians across history.
The relationship America has with Indians is deep. Over a million Americans visit India every year; that’s quite an amount; it doesn’t matter if this is your first or fourth visit to India; if there’s one thing we can all agree with, visiting someone especially one mile and seas away from you is best when you have a gift on you.
So if you are visiting the beautiful country of India, these are some exciting gifts to take from the USA to India that many of your receivers would appreciate. Note, when taking gifts from America to any part of the world, you should go for things with an emblem of the State or unique to America only.
Great Gifts to Take From the USA to India
1. Bulk American Chocolate Classic Candy
Chocolates and candies are some gifts I often suggest to travelers. Gifts of this nature are simple and often come in bulk, meaning everyone gets to get a handful. I’m pretty aware that there are candies and chocolates in India, but again, there might be some areas where these are expensive, so this is one great American gift to take to India.
Available Here2. Peanut Butter
This is another small and simple gift to take over there; if you get it in bulk, that will be an incredible gesture. During my research, I discovered that a few people over there would smile at getting this; like the cookies above, there’s peanut butter over, so go for a pretty rare flavor.
Available Here3. American Beer or Wine
A bottle of American wine or a crate of American beer are thoughtful gifts for your Indian host. You all could relax over the beer, and I suggest you buy a great brand; a good brand doesn’t need to see you breaking your bank.
4. American-made Hot Sauce
Our iconic hot sauce is another excellent gift for your Indian host. It’ll make more sense if your receiver enjoys cooking or, better still, enjoys grilling.
Available Here5. Toys and Games
The toys are for the kids, while the games could involve the kids. When visiting those who have kids, if I should forget to get gifts for the adults, I don’t forget the kids. It is always joyful when the kids anticipate your next coming, and some lovely goodies like kids’ toys and games would do.
Available Here6. American-made Beauty Products
Some lovely beauty and skin care products are thoughtful gifts for your receiver in beautiful India. Nevertheless, I’m a bit half-minded on this, and this is why, if your receiver comes to like the skin care product, they’ll want to use it often. If it runs out, they might face difficulties trying to get a replacement, so if you’ll be making the visit again or plan on shipping it when you are back in the US, then know that a skin care product is one fantastic gift idea for your receiver.
Available Here7. American-made Chocolates
There’s not much to say here; a pack of chocolates would make sense too. It is stylishly an awesome
gifts to India from USA.
8. American-made Clothes
Indians are prominent in their tradition and often stick to their cultural dressing habits; however, some fancy some American outfits and clothing like nice blue jeans, t-shirts, and much more; you know your receiver better than me and can tell if getting them some clothes from America is an excellent idea.
Available Here9. USA Travel Guidebook
It doesn’t matter if your receivers plan to visit the US anytime soon, this book contains some incredible things about the USA, some lovely depictions of beautiful locations, details, and much more; reading this would give your receiver a clue about the US so if by chance they come for a tour in the States they would have an idea of how to navigate their way there.
Available Here10. Baking Supplies
This was a suggestion from an Indian forum I visited; while your receiver might have baking produce, they thought having more baking supplies would be ideal. They can create many shapes from most of the stores you’ll offer them.
Available Here11. American Scented Candles
Some lovely scented candles are other gifts to consider taking to India. They’ll assist with making your receiver’s environment more exciting and relaxing; a gift that would boost my receiver’s well-being would always remain a top-tier gift.
Available Here12. International Travel Adapter
This is more of a gift for you than for your receiver; most of the electronics you may be traveling with might not be ideal for India’s power supply; this universal adapter would ensure your devices receive the needed amount of power to avoid it getting nasty.
Available Here13. Pressure Cooker
Most people would fancy such rare gifts, but an excellent device such as this pressure cooker would make much sense. You’ll be helping your receiver save time, especially when in a hurry to fix a meal.
Available Here14. Bath Bombs
Just like the scented candle, these bath bombs are a type of relaxation gift ideal for your host.
Available Here15. Game for Kids
I can’t leave out a kid when I’m visiting another country; I’m more likely to forget to get gifts for the adults but won’t negate getting gifts for the kids.
It is always a joy seeing their faces light up when you get them gifts, and trust children always to anticipate your return.
Available Here16. Men’s T-Shirt
A nice t-shirt with the American flag is one other gift to consider.
Available Here17. Where to Go, When to Go – Paperback
The US has fifty states, all blessed with unique buildings, people, sights, places, etc. you can trigger your receiver’s fantasy with this book and let them see the incredible luxury the US and her fifty states have to offer.
